About the Multidisciplinary Engineering Major
Multidisciplinary Engineering (MDE) is an exciting major in the College of Engineering that draws from numerous fields to create a unique and broad-based foundation in engineering. Taking courses from multiple disciplines both inside and outside the College of Engineering, MDE students are uniquely positioned to tackle challenging projects that often exist at the intersection of different fields. MDE students can choose from one of our existing specializations - partner programs that allow students to "dive deep" in a particular area, or, working with an academic advisor, they can develop an individualized specialization that meets their own unique interests. Explore this site further to get a deeper look into Multidisciplinary Engineering as a major!
